Blastin' and Castin' in the Texas Outdoors
We havea lot of good times, the road was a drug when we started way back, our wheels rolled on steady, now its forgetting the race to find an open space and leaving that city far behind We’ll be up in the morning before the sun, since anything beats working on the job and everyone knows the early worm gets the fish. The world is your oyster, let the high times carry the low, walk where the sun is shining, lay your burdens down and think to yourself that it sure feels good feeling good again.

Awesome pics!! I'm so jealous--not so much of the hunting, but definitely of the viewing! Can't wait to see all of your pictures when you get back!
(Also, did not know you had a blog. I'm glad to know we can check up on you)!
Good Lord dont look here!
It's not my blog. There are about 6 or 7 of us outdoors types that are able to post our experiences here. This started when we were all at A&M.
Since then, there have been hundreds and hundreds of stories -- some good, some bad, and some just down right disturbing.
Very rarely (if ever) is there a post like this where the photographed critter actually escaped unscathed. However, in this case, I am glad to have had the opportunity to see them in their natural setting.
I like to see them in their natural setting too, my plate.
Hey Alan,
Thanks for sharing. Surprised you didn't get a picture of a unicorn or bigfoot while you were there. Maybe next time.
Also, I'm a little troubled that others would use the blog to check up on you. BAC might send the wrong message to your civilized acquaintances.
