Blastin' and Castin' in the Texas Outdoors

We havea lot of good times, the road was a drug when we started way back, our wheels rolled on steady, now its forgetting the race to find an open space and leaving that city far behind We’ll be up in the morning before the sun, since anything beats working on the job and everyone knows the early worm gets the fish. The world is your oyster, let the high times carry the low, walk where the sun is shining, lay your burdens down and think to yourself that it sure feels good feeling good again.

Sat. June 14

The day before fathers Day, Sat. June 14, I hope to hire a fishing charter to go catch big long saltwater fish.

I anticipate leaving freeport before the sun shines, but this is up to the captain chosen.

This will likely run a couple hundred dollars a head with the current cost of fuel and my intense desire to not spend all day fishing for bottom dwellers

Z and Myself appear to be in already, I think this means I need two more people to fill the boat.

I have done some calling around and the above boat is available for the 14th and the captain says the amberjacks, and dolphins are just starting to pick up. I think this looks like a 4 man boat.

Is this going to be your only venture this year? I'd LOVE to go blue water it, but that's a bad weekend cause of father's day. You can put me down as a very light maybe. It depeends on lots of things.

\\What the Boat provides:
Appropriate rods & reels
Fishing tackle
Bait & ice
Insulated fish boxes for your catch
Licensed/knowledgeable captain
Federal Fishing Permits

Copied and Pasted from Charter Website:

What we need to bring:
Texas fishing license
Food & drink
Appropriate clothing/sun protection
Seasick medication, if needed
Cameras for those great action shots
Ice chest to take home your catch (left in truck)

-I think one icechest with enough 'hydration' for 5 fishermen and maybe a little something to eat for lunch.

If he's a good captain, he would say, "OK, now where's yours?"
