We havea lot of good times, the road was a drug when we started way back, our wheels rolled on steady, now its forgetting the race to find an open space and leaving that city far behind We’ll be up in the morning before the sun, since anything beats working on the job and everyone knows the early worm gets the fish. The world is your oyster, let the high times carry the low, walk where the sun is shining, lay your burdens down and think to yourself that it sure feels good feeling good again.

Besides the coloring, the face of that pig looks a lot different from the normal black ones.

After reading your comment I looked back at all the pictures we have holding dead pigs and the ones that are all black usually have much shorter heads (nose to top of skull). Although most of the pics don't really show the head of the pig that well.

Jeff and I didn't think this most recent pig had an extremely long face at the time but now I would say that it does after further review.

When I cooked the pork in the crock pot I strained the broth, then boiled it way down to make some wickedly good game stock.

yesterday for supper I seasoned some big thick slices of pig back strap with my own proprietary sausage seasoning mix and popped them into the oven with a little of the broth in the bottom of the pan to keep 'em moist. It was excellent.

Actually Steve, although our decision was inconclusive, we did note that this pig had a nice little ridge along her back and her nose was different than the Gause prototype. It might be my imagination, but it seems like we have noticed a slight change in genetics of late. Perhaps you can put that degree of yours to use and come up with a nice scientific study.
